About Us

Our history

Proudly Canadian, our company was founded in 1990 as Sterigen Laboratories Inc. In July 2020, the current management acquired the company, which became STERI-MED PHARMA INC. in January 2021.

Since the arrival of the new management, our company is in an era of expansion. In addition to developing niche products, we will soon be adding new equipment to our Upton, Montérégie facility, which will allow us to significantly increase our production capacity in order to meet our Canadian and American customers demands.

Our short-term growth plan is defined as follows :

  • New ophthalmic ointment production line (Q2-2023) ;
  • New ophthalmic drops production line (Q4-2024);
  • Addition of several new ophthalmic products;
  • International market development;
  • Accessibility to the American market;
  • Development of the veterinary market.

“My visit to your plant allowed me to discover your jewel of a company. I was sincerely impressed with the visible and blatant level of quality in the operations. I suspect that your passion has a lot to do with it…”
